Join our driver's education class with enthusiastic certified instructors to become the most knowledgeable, successful, safe, and low-risk driver. Our courses in driver education are DMV certified and designed to teach North Carolina laws, regulations and proper driving techniques for your safety as well as others. We want everyone, especially our teens, to be well educated on how driving responsibly impacts their lives and others around them. The student will learn to deal with distractions and different situations as well as learning how to avoid conflicts that lead to collisions. We help develop the correct attitude and desire in your new driver, so the student will drive defensively in order for them to maintain a collision free lifestyle. Once a new driver is alone in the car it is up to him/her to decide to drive defensively. The training we provide has been designed to teach new drivers to develop quickly and confidently the skills they need to drive defensivley so they remain low risk and collision free. Our drug and alcohol program teaches students the effects of alcohol on their body and they see first hand how difficult it is to handle a vehicle while impaired. We use Drunk Buster Impairment Goggles in our training to explain and show the difference between the goggles and actual impairment to help your student make the decision to never drink or use drugs and drive! Selecting a driving school is one of the most important decisions a parent and teen will make. The decision you make about your teen's driving education is as important as planning their future. Our professional instructors have lots of experience and it is our goal to make your teen a safe, defensive, courteous driver while keeping the learning process enjoyable. We believe in what we are doing because we care and we strive to provide the best possible instruction to every student who comes to Wilmington NC's Coastal Carolina Driving School for their driver education.
